Slava Visnakovs
CEO, Head Dance Coach, Instructor and Choreographer
Slava was born in Latvia where he started dancing at the age of 7. During his dance career, he was taught by the World’s best and most respected dance teachers such as Colin James, Klaus Kongsdal, Brian Watson, and many others. Under their guidance, he became the three-time Latvian Champion, Blackpool Dance Festival Champion, Two Times Winner of German Open Championships, and prize winner of countless international and U.S. ballroom dance tournaments.
In 2014 Slava has graduated from RPIVA with Bachelor’s degree in Dance Pedagogics. During his study years, he has mastered the world’s top dancing styles that he now successfully incorporates into his teaching methods. Some of them include ballet, modern and contemporary dance, jazz, and folk dances.
Since 2013 Slava has raised several Latvian National champions and medallists in all age categories. He has also led finalists of the European Youth Championship and Junior 2 World Championship. As a result of all these coaching accomplishments, Slava became a highly demanded dance teacher in the Baltics with students from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden, Byelorussia, and Poland.
Since 2019 Slava lives in the USA where he is an active member of the National Dance Council of America. He is a Certified Professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer who leads the new generation of champions at Dancing Like A Star Academy.
Atile Zukaite
COO, Dance Instructor and Choreographer
Atile was born in Lithuania where she started taking dance lessons at the age of 8. When Atile was 14 she got invited to live and represent Spain in the World Championship. This gave her access to the best dancesport training and workshops with the world-renown ballroom dance teachers. By her 18th birthday, she already had won multiple National Champion Titles, and also became the Grand Finalist of European and World Championships.
In 2018 Atile got the high 3rd position in the World DanceSport ranking out of more than 2000 dancesport couples around the world. As a result, it made a great promotion for her dance couple to participate in different dance projects and show dance events around the world.
Since 2019 Atile lives in the USA where she is an active member of the National Dance Council of America and a certified professional dancer and dance instructor. Atile is successfully managing the rapidly growing Dancing Like A Star Academy since January 2021.
Anna Grigorian
Assistant Dance Instructor
Anna started dancing at 8 years old and began attending dance competitions at 12. Anna immediately fell in love with the sport and began to pursue it, since then Anna has participated in and won several titles at competitions including New York Dance Festival and Millennium Dancesport Championship.
Anna began teaching to broaden her scope of the dance world, and it quickly became a passion of hers. Several of her students have performed and competed in front of large audiences with excellent results. Recently, Anna began coaching in Dancing Like a Star’s Wheelchair Dancing Program and debuted with a fan-favorite performance at Southeastern Dancesport Championship 2022.
